Barry Erdeljon

Barry C. Erdeljon is a cofounder of Studio Up! and currently the sole proprietor. Barry specializes in museum design and project management. Barry has over 35 years of award winning visual communications design and project management experience. Barry’s experience includes from concept designs through installation of museum technology displays, video productions, exhibition floor plans, dioramas, displays, and website development. As a creative design and technology consultant Barry has been responsible for a wide variety of projects including, interactive touch screen museum installations, marketing and branding campaigns, and exhibition design for numerous national nonprofit organizations and fortune 500 companies.

Barry earned a Masters in Fine Arts in Visual Communications from George Washington University and a Bachelor in Sciences in Applied Design from the University of Maryland. Barry is currently a professor for the Department of Graphic Design and Fine Arts at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.

Sarah Gulick, M.F.A. in Electronic Media, is a cofounder of Studio Up! and was the original majority owner. Sarah left Studio Up in 2018 to focus on her career in video production with the National Park Service. Sarah has directed and produced numerous award wining video productions and museum and science center exhibits. Much of the work on this site was created in collaboration with Sarah.
