Diorama display with replica of domestic slave trader John Armfield’s office desk with biographical panels and touch monitor for high school and college U.S. history students; prompted multiple-choice questions progress users through the 19th century domestic slave trading business cycle. From purchasing of northern slaves through selling them for a profit in the Deep South, costs and profits are based on the records of the largest domestic slave trading company in the U.S., Franklin & Armfield Company.
